I am currently in pre-production on my newest short, An Old Hope, so click the link above to find out more. We are shooting from April 1st to the 8th and we need all the help we can get. While you are there check out the trailer for Optional Ingredients!

New to the site are two old videos, Big Horned Squirrels Go to DC and Tranquil Destiny. Check them out on the movies page.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

2007 was a great year for me and I hope the same goes for all of you who read this. 2008 looks to be an even crazier year. I fly out for LA on the 11th to see how I like it out there.

So what's new on this site? Not a hell of a lot but I have a new idea which I am going to start implementing. It will kind of bring my experience from working at Blockbuster back into some importance. I am going to do movie reviews of already released titles as a series of what you should rent when you go to the store or are online. In the same tone I will try and dissuade you from renting other titles that I find to be a waste of your time and money (some of you already know which ones I'm going to pick on first.) So expect that soon.

Also there is a new/old video from 2006 called Interview With a Bullfighter. This was an interview that Lauren Koppelman did with me for a movie that she shot. She asked me to be myself and so I improvised and came up with this. Just remember that none of it is scripted and Lauren does a wonderful job of not cracking up. So I hope you all enjoy! Just remember that the bull is a majestic animal!

Also, for those of you looking for an update on Optional Ingredients you are not out of luck. The film is practically complete! My sound designer, Brian Smith, from Boston is finishing up after coming down for some ADR recording sessions. Meanwhile my composer, Willie Fastenow, is finishing up the score for the film. Speaking of which, if you would like to hear the rough version of the score you can now listen to it right here:

Rough Optional Ingredients Score

There is a minute of silence at the beginning and then more silence later so don't worry about it.

So, expect the DVD of Optional Ingredients to be released soon. The DVD will have:
- Behind-the-Scenes featurettes
- 2 commentary tracks (funny)

Now I am also shooting an even longer film, around 30 minutes, this semester but I'm completely out of money. I will be sending out free copies of Optional Ingredients to whoever wants it but I am also asking that people donate. You can get a DVD for free no problem but if you have a couple of extra bucks that would go a long way for me. Anyway, thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy the new additions.

For those of you clamoring for a new video to the site that is actually funny, well I've got on for you. Under the RANDOM APPEARANCES section you'll find a new video filmed on the set of U R What U Eat called Interracial Beard Grooming. I was behind the camera for this joke that went on for a long time. The video is really short but the idea is tremendously funny. I hope you enjoy.

Well, here I am back again. Sorry for the delay, my desktop crashed, rendering me unable to update. Things have been really crazy for me over this Summer and the beginning of the semester. This Summer I spent 6 weeks in Nice, France taking a course on 3D animation. We learned a program called MAYA that does 3D rendering. I have uploaded the films that I made into my video section. You can check them out under the new NICE, FRANCE MOVIES section.

The trip was an absolute blast and I fulfilled a ton of my childhood dreams. Leaving America was a great thing, I learned a lot about myself by travelling and learning what its like to be alone and away from home.

On the other hand I just finished re-editing Optional Ingredients and its looking just great. Sound editing will start soon and the documentary is coming along just fine. I will be selling them off my site soon so get ready for that.

The other day I was the Director of Photography on a commercial for the NYU chapter of the College Democrats. You can check that out at the bottom of the movies page under the RANDOM APPEARANCES section. Random good deed for the day. Check!

Yesterday I shot a film with Keith Haskel again. It was his equivalent of a Color Sync now that he is work at MTV on the Human Giant show. Good work Keith, you deserved it. Check back later for a link to his film, U R What U Eat.

In the meantime watch my new animations and watch out for some new/old movies from Severna Park High School that have never surfaced. It just requires me to move some stuff around and do some basic editing. So check back soon! Please!

Mostly all of the movies on here now have links to their YouTube versions. So now everyone can see and comment on videos that they may not have been able to see before. I hope you all enjoy.

This could be the last update before the summer unless I find a way to update from my Mac or hook up my desktop PC to the internet at my house. We'll see. I certainly hope I can update. Thanks everyone!

3 movies added to the NYU movies. They are all things that I've made with Keith Haskel over at thekskill.com, some of them date as far back as the Wii launch. Enjoy.

The three new movies are:
-Where's Hair?
-Is Dead
-Official Nintendo Wii Launch - NYC Times Square Toys R Us

I know I always say this but this time I mean it. It has been way too long since I last updated, but hopefully the above picture gives a reason why.

So the 9 month endeavor that was Pre-Production and Production on my newest film Optional Ingredients has come to a close (hopefully!) The film ended up costing me more money that I ever planned on spending but the results have me very happy. I would like to thank everyone who assisted in the process of creating it. I am currently looking for a webmaster to create a site for it so I can put up some web-docs filmed during the creation of it and create a PayPal account for donations (which are sorely needed.)

Anyway, the movie pretty much took over my life for the past 9 months and to those of you who talked to me during that stressful period, you witnessed that firsthand. The shoot itself went very smoothly and I think everyone had a very good time, I know I did. For those of you who want to see it you will have to wait about 6 more months because the Post Production process is going to take awhile and I'm in this for the long haul, and then its film festival time!

So about this site, I realize that I haven't updated in awhile and I don't want this site to be as self-indulgent as it has been in past. So I've decided that while I will continue to update you faithful visitors on myself I will be mainly focusing on the entertainment world with rants and reviews from myself. I hope this interests people because I think that my views are at least somewhat credible. This will allow me to update more frequently and in shorter segments and at least it will be fun to check in on my movie reviews and other things.

Also, check out the Movies page, because I am working on putting most of the short films on YouTube so that you can comment and see them in a more timely fashion. Also I am working on updating the About Me page and the Vlogs kinda turned out to be harder to do that I thought and I might just make that a Movie Review page or an Optional Ingredients page. We'll see, thanks again everyone for being so patient with me.

Here are some pictures from the shoot of Optional Ingredients:

Day 3

I hope that excites you enough to want to see this movie.
